The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced nominees for the 94th Academy Awards earlier this month, and while some contenders are still playing in theaters, 2022 is looking a lot like the breakout year for streaming movies.

The dominating player is Netflix’s The Power of the Dog, which managed to pick up 12 nominations, including Best Picture and Best Director. Dune, which will be available on HBO Max beginning March 10, follows close behind with 10 nominations.
